Volunteers have been, and always will be, an essential part of the Waterford Walls Festival. Each year we look for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals for a host of interesting roles – there really is something to suit all ages, interests, skills sets and abilities! Volunteering is a great way to work closely with the team and artists, helping to deliver a great event, while also meeting new and interesting people, learning new skills and most importantly, having some fun. If you would like a brochure, a copy of the full Volunteer Programme, or if you would like to become a volunteer at Waterford Walls 2019, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator MJ at mj@waterfordwalls.ie – you won’t regret it!

WATERFORD WALLS VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME

Our brand new Volunteer Programme is designed to suit people of all ages who wish to experience the full life-cycle of the festival. This Waterford Walls Volunteer experience begins at the start of every summer when we prepare the city to receive the many artists arriving in August, and ends in September after the festival has wrapped up. You’ll even get your very own Volunteer street art workshop and party to celebrate all that you have accomplished! Participating in this new programme allows volunteers to gain much experience in many different areas, and to become part of a regular team.

SHORT TERM VOLUNTEERING

For those of you with slightly less time to devote to volunteering, we still want to hear from you! There are lots of ways you can get involved that cater for those who have time constraints or want to volunteer specific skills or abilities. This is perfect for occasional volunteers during the summer, or for those who wish to get involved during the festival weekend only.

If you are interested in volunteering in any way or would like to get in touch about volunteering a specific skill then please email mj@waterfordwalls.ie for more information.
